Lorena Kloosterboer is a Dutch-Argentine artist (born Alkmaar Netherlands, 1962) who paints using Trompe-l'œil and Photorealistic styles, often creating the illusion of three-dimensional objects on a two-dimensional surface. She is best known for her hyperrealist still life paintings of ''idiosyncratic'' compositions made of glass and porcelain pieces. Her paintings have been exhibited and awarded in several countries worldwide. Her palette has been termed as ''unexpectedly scintillating''. As a sculptor Kloosterboer is known for having created a number of bronze sculptures which are displayed in public in the city of Wassenaar. Kloosterboer has also published books on painting techniques.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://outspokenart.withtheworks.net/scrolling_gallery/graphiques2/kloosterboer.html )〕〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.winsornewton.com/uk/connect/member?UserID=177 )〕〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.contemporary-still-life.com/lorenakloosterboer.html )〕〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://raebecgallery.com/portfolio/uncategorised/lorena-kloosterboer/ )〕〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://art-lorena.com/biography )〕〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.vanderkrogt.net/standbeelden/gemeente.php?gemeente=ZH70&object=A&pagina=3 )〕〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.vanderkrogt.net/standbeelden/gemeente.php?gemeente=ZH70&object=A&pagina=4 )〕〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.amazon.com/Lorena-Kloosterboer/e/B00MC4U9K8 )〕 ==Career== Kloosterboer studied fine arts at the Instituto de Bellas Artes Beato Angélico〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.buenosaires.gob.ar/areas/educacion/escuelas/escuelas/privada/beato/default.htm )〕 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
